Hello, I'm a software developer with some professional experience in full-stack web apps. I'm currently living in Italy and am finishing up my computer engineering degree at POLIMI.
If you're curious about why my website looks the way it does, it's because I genuinely just like the simplicity of it, no fancy stuff. Additionally, by keeping the site minimal, it ensures it is accessible to as many people as possible and that it's 100% efficient.

Who am I?
I'm Francesco, and I'm an Italian software developer. I grew up in the United States, though. I've always loved spending time at my computer ever since I got my hands on one. Naturally, I started programming and I ended up here.
A few months ago, I did my first ever internship at Tesisquare, a digital supply chain company here in Italy. I developed a web app as one of their side projects that they had going on at the time for Fondazione Industriali, which is a foundation that aims to help disadvantaged individuals in society (such as people with criminal records). The web app I helped develop is essentially an applicant tracking system (ATS) for such individuals to help them connect with potential job offers.
Through my various side projects and years at university, I have grown to enjoy programming a lot. It's that simple, really. Building stuff is just fun :).
